Hi, I'm Ashten Farah.

My experience focuses heavily on program and project management in the areas of community relations, recruitment, academic relations, and training and facilitation as well as the development of branding and marketing initiatives. I have been fortunate enough to exercise my skills at organizations like Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, UPMC, University of Pittsburgh, Robert Morris University, Pittsburgh Magazine, and CBS Radio.
Education
I graduated from Robert Morris University with a degree in Corporate Communication with a focus in Public Relations and a minor in International Business. During my time at RMU, I served as president of Lambda Pi Eta (the National Communication Honors Society) and Public Relations Coordinator and Associate Editor of Rune Literary Magazine. I was a Patriot and Dean's Scholar, member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and captain of RMU's Cheerleading Squad. My graduate level coursework at the University of Pittsburgh focused on diversity and inclusion, race, and women’s issues.
Volunteer
I currently serve as a member of the Children's Trust, National Diversity Council, and Pennsylvania Job Corps Advisory Board. I am a mentor for Pennsylvania Women’s Work.
